Red mud filter press is used to separate the solid (red mud) and liquid (sodium aluminate solution) from the red mud slurry.
Requirments:
1.Cake moisture≤30%
2.Liquid suspension 0.2g/l.

1.Feeding in the two ends, and six units is one end feeding. When you see there is small liquid flow out or the feeding pressure is 0.75Mpa, stop the pump.
2.Squeeze, start squeezing pump to press about 180-240 seconds, stop squeeze, and empty out the squeezing water in the membrane plates.
3.Blowback, start blowback air, to blow clear of the slurry in pipe and filter plate pore.
4.Discharge, start oil pump, release plates. Start plate shifting device and discharge. You need to check whether is clean when discharge, if not clean, you need a shovel to make it clean, to ensure the smoothly work of the second cycle.
