The first calculation method of belt filter press processing capacity

With belt filter press output wet mud cake thickness as the main calculation parameters,
Yield calculated based on wet mud cake,
And then calculate the feed amount (i.e., treatment capacity), which is calculated as follows:

(1) cake production

Q wet mud cake = B · ξ · δ · v · s · γ · β

Where:
Q wet mud cake – wet mud cake output capacity t / h

B– filter belt width m
ξ– filter width utilization factor, usually 0.85 to 0.9
δ– wet mud cake thickness m, generally take 6 ~ 10mm (0.006 ~ 0.01m)
v– filter press belt actual operating speed m / min, and generally 3-6m / min
s– unit time 60min / h
γ– wet mud cake proportion t / m3, and generally 1.03 t / m3
β– solid recovery, and generally ≥95%

(2)Q feed amount = (wet mud cake solid rate ÷ feed solid content) × Q wet mud cake (t / h)
